How we do?
- Determine the locations where you need Ethernet connections, such as offices, entertainment areas, and bedrooms.
- Consider the layout of your home, including walls, floors, and obstacles, to plan the most efficient cable routes.
- Use Cat 5e, Cat 6, or Cat 6a Ethernet cables for optimal performance.
- Select cables with solid copper conductors and high-quality insulation to minimize signal interference and ensure durability.
- Use Access Points, Wi-Fi Repeaters, Switches and Routers from a reputed brand.
- Adhere to TIA/EIA-568-B wiring standards for Ethernet cabling, including color-coding and termination practices.
- Use a cable tester to verify proper wiring and continuity before connecting devices.
- Use world class survey tools for assessing the Indoor and Outdoor Wi-Fi coverage.
- Keep Ethernet cables away from sources of electromagnetic interference, such as power cables, fluorescent lights, and appliances.
- Use shielded twisted pair (STP) cables in areas with high EMI to reduce signal degradation.
- Label both ends of each Ethernet cable and patch panel port to easily identify connections.
- Use descriptive labels indicating the location and purpose of each cable for troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Use a cable tester or network analyzer to verify the integrity and performance of Ethernet connections.
- Perform speed tests and check for signal attenuation or crosstalk to ensure optimal network performance.
- Create a detailed diagram or documentation of the home network layout, including cable runs, termination points, and device connections.
- Keep records of cable types, lengths, and installation dates for future reference.
- We can optionally keep the softcopy documents in a secured storage location for future reference.
